Acknowledgement from the family of the late Patsy Hamilton (RIP).
We, the family of the late Patsy R.I.P would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during this sad and difficult time of our bereavement.
We have been overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown to us by our relatives, friends, and wider community.
Thank you to everyone that sent mass/sympathy cards, sent messages and to those who helped at the family home during the wake. Thank you to those that sent food and to those that called at the wake and attended the funeral or viewed online. We are forever grateful and took comfort from your support.
A special thank you to Fr Tremer for his support and guidance over the days of bringing daddy home right through to his burial. Thank you for the meaningful funeral mass which was offered with such respect and kindness which brought solace to us as a family.
Thank you to the Fianna Football club for their guard of honour, this was a special moment for us as a family. Thank you to Margaret Ann for the beautiful music, to the grave diggers who prepared daddy’s final resting place and the team in Ardboe Hall for the beautiful food after the funeral.
We would like to thank Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their support, guidance and grace in bringing daddy home via his boyhood home of Coalisand and the professional and dignified manner in which the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out. Your support was invaluable to us during this sad time.
We would like to thank daddy’s Doctor – Dr Heron and the Renal team and wider nursing staff in Daisyhill hospital who looked after daddy in his last days with us.
It is impossible to thank everyone personally, but we loved hearing every story that you shared about daddy’s life, this brought light and laughter in our mourning of daddy and we will hold these close to our hearts. We hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.
Daddy’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 2nd June at 11.30 am mass in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardboe.
