The death has occurred of:
Raj VIJ
We, the family of Raj Vij, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, and extended community for their support during Raj’s illness.
We are deeply thankful to those who brought flowers, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, and to the many who prayed for Raj and for us, his family. Your continued support as we mourn the loss of our beloved husband, daddy, father-in-law, brother, and granda means more than words can express.
A special thank you to Fr. Seán O’Donnell and the Derry Franciscans for their support during Raj’s illness and for the beautiful Mass that celebrated his life. Thank you also to the extended clergy who offered prayers, support, and comfort.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the district nursing team and the carers who attended Raj at home with such dedication and compassion, as well as to the Marie Curie team who supported our family so kindly in his final days.
We are grateful to WJ O’Brien for the dignified and honorable handling of the wake and funeral arrangements.
To all the staff of Ward 24, thank you for your kindness and care during Raj’s time with you.
As it would be impossible to name everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation for all who helped, attended, supported, made tea, brought food, visited, or assisted in any way.
Raj’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, 27th April at 6:30pm in St. Joseph’s Chapel, Galliagh. All Welcome.
