Robert (Bob) McMAHON
We, the wife and family of the late Bob McMahon, wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, telephoned and sent cards and messages on social media. We would also like to thank those who brought food and gifts and helped in the family home.
We would like to thank the staff of the Archway Surgery for their care for, and attention to, Dad and the unwavering respect, care and kindness of Dr Gail Nicholson and the Acute Care at Home Team who guided us through our journey. A word of thanks also to Nuala and Nicola from Southern Trust Domiciliary Care, Ann’s Home Care and Kathryn and Ruth Mitchell and Emer Hagan, all of whom helped us care for Dad. We would wish to express our gratitude to the staff of Marie Curie who supported us with Dad’s care and for which we will be eternally grateful.
Thanks to Annette Foster, OL Flowers, for the beautiful flower arrangement and Robert Davidson for the flowers he brought to the house.
A special word of thanks to Reverend Peter Gamble for his support and guidance and for conducting the funeral service and to Brian Hamill for piping at the church, as well as the USC Association for the guard of honour. Appreciation to David Hammerton and the Royal British Legion for organising the poppy drop at the graveside. We would like to thank Simply Good Catering who provided the tea after the funeral and at short notice.
Thanks to Stephen Stoops and his colleagues for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out.
