Died 28th March 2025. We the family of the late Roma Mellon wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who supported us on our recent sad bereavement.

Roma was a dearly loved wife of the late Hughie, devoted mother of Sue, mother in-law of Dougie, granny of Ronan, Catherine, Daragh and his wife Aine, great granny to Maya and friend to many who will be sorely missed.

Thanks to everyone who called at the house, brought mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and gave donations.

Thanks also to Roma’s friends from the senior citizens clubs that she was a part of and enjoyed so much.

A special word of thanks to Fr Kevin McElhennon for the beautiful funeral mass and to Fr Declan McGeehan for all their spiritual support. We would like to thank the sacristan and our singer Noleen Neill for the beautiful music.

Thanks to all the doctors and nurses in ward 2 in the South West Hospital.

A special word of thanks to the principal, staff and pupils of Holy Family Primary School and for the wonderful guard of honour. Thank you to her dear friend Eamon and to all who took part in the mass in any way.

A big thank you to the carers who took great care of her and especially Caroline her good friend.

A special thanks to Sara, Margaret, Isabel and Martin for all their help at the house before and during the wake. Thanks to the staff of the Village Inn for the lovely refreshments after the funeral, to the undertaker J Maguire for his efficiency and professionalism, and to the gravedigger who prepared her final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept our appreciation to all who supported us in any way during this difficult time.

Roma's months mind will be on Sunday 27th April at 11am in St Mary’s Chapel, Killyclogher.

Have you considered?
