Acknowledgement
Rose Gallagher, Carrickmore, Co Tyrone.
Died 21st March 2025.
We the family of the late Rose, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.
Rose was a widely loved and respected lady, devoted wife of Paddy. Adored mother of Sinead, Roisin, Orla and Neil, mother in law of Justin, Fran, and Ellen. Precious grandmother of Vínn Óg, Riley, Isla and Tony. Much loved sister of Anne, Mary, Breege, Brian (RIP) and Baby Michael (RIP), sister in law, aunt and friend.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, brought food or helped to serve refreshments, and to those who helped with traffic management and parking, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
We are blessed to have had the love and support of our friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, which has helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Peter McAnenly P.P. for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan Colette and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, our singer Ciara Fox, and musicians; Shane, Rory and Vinn Óg, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to The Marie Curie Nurses – Rose’s colleagues and friends, and to the staff and pupils of St Colmcille’s Primary School for their guards of honour, this was very much appreciated.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Ciaran for preparing Rose’s final resting place. Thank you also to Peadar, Kelley and the management and staff of the Charm Inn for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
A special word of thanks to the Termon Community Responders and Emergency Services for attending to Rose on the day of her passing. We are so very grateful for all your help, and for the kindness shown to Rose.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.
Rose is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Church of Saint Colmcille, Carrickmore, on Tuesday 22nd April at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for her.
