Sadie McMENAMIN
We the daughters and sons of our precious mother Sadie McMenamin, wife of the late Michael, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Our mother Sadie was a much loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbour.
Sincere thanks to all who came from near and far to attend the wake and funeral. Thank-you to all those who sent messages, brought Mass/Sympathy cards, flowers and gifts of food for the wake. Our sincere appreciation to Margaret, Bernie and all the grandchildren for providing and serving the refreshments during the wake.
Thank-you to the Doctors, Nurses and the staff of Castlederg Group Surgery and to Patrick and the staff of Corry’s Chemist for their help and support. Thank-you also to the District Nursing Team for their care and attention to our mother over many years.
Our heartfelt appreciate to all our wonderful carers from Northwest Care and Care Plus for their compassionate care of our mother. A special thank-you to Bernie, Catriona, Avril, Caroline, Gillian, Jennifer, Kathleen and Stephanie for their companionship, help and kindness to our mother.
A sincere word of thanks to Fr Paul, Fr Thomas, Fr John, Fr Patsy, Fr Peter for their spiritual support, peace and friendship they brought to mother during her declining years. Thank-you also for their support to us as a family. To Monsignor Andy Dolan and Fr Peter McAnenly our grateful thanks forattending the family home during the wake.
Our mother’s Requiem Mass was a loving tribute to her life and we extend our sincere gratitude to Fr Paul for his words of comfort and sharing the wonderful memories we have of our mother.
A special thank-you to Rois for the beautiful uplifting music during the funeral Mass. Thank-you to our sacristans Veronica and Danny for all their preparation prior to and after the funeral. A special word of thanks to Charlie Lynch Funeral Director and Martin for their personal guidance and the professional manner in which they conducted our mother’s wake and funeral arrangements. Our grateful thanks to Brendan and Angelo for preparing our mother’s final resting place.
To our mother’s family, friends and neighbours who visited her, we are forever grateful. A very special thank-you to Margaret McGirr for her long time friendship with our mother and for always making sure that her hair was styled and that she was always dressed to perfection for the important occasions.
Our grateful thanks to the staff of the Aghyaran GAA Centre for serving the refreshments after the funeral.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation and thanks to you all.
Our precious mother, Rest in Peace, will be forever loved and sadly missed. Sadie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be at 11am on Sunday 20th April 2025, in St Patrick’s Church, Aghyaran.
