Seamus McKENDRY

The entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. They wish to deeply express their thanks to all who contributed to Seamus' quality of life in any way; members of Sacred Heart Parish, St Vincent de Paul, Seamus' neighbours and friends, Community Carers, Newington Centre, the residents, wonderful and dedicated staff of Fruithill Nursing Home, Clonard's Redemptorist Priests who ministered there on Sundays, Social Workers , Ward 7c RVH & other Trust staff. A special word of appreciation to lifelong friends, Tom & Theresa Moonan RIP, their son Denis who devotedly maintained their craic and friendship.

We are blessed for Father Brendan McKeever’s (St Paul's Mount Argus, Dublin) spiritual support during the wake and Requiem Mass, Gerry McFarlane for closure of his coffin and burial prayers, both keeping Seamus' spirit alive for us.
Thank You Amy McAllister for your tender singing and harp playing.

The family greatly appreciated the support of everyone who came to Seamus' wake & Mass, who sent messages, cards, donations to Parkinson’s UK or Motor Neuron’s Disease Association.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at O'Kanes Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements.

The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Seamus’ Months Mind Mass and Sean's 10th Anniversary will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Parish Hall (due repairs and painting in Chapel), 1B Glenview St, Belfast BT14 7DP, on Saturday 23rd November 2024 at 6pm.
