Seamus Rodgers

We the family of the late Seamus Rodgers wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who travelled from near and far to attend the wake and funeral and to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and offered condolences by phone and messages and gave donations in lieu of flowers. Our sincere gratitude to our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who assisted during the wake and provided food and refreshments.
Thank you to the emergency services, paramedics and first responders for their outstanding medical care.
Thank you to Fr Sean McCartan, for his prayers and comforting presence at Dad’s wake. A special thank you to Fr McCavill and Fr Hughes for celebrating Dad’s funeral mass and burial, for a lovely meaningful service, alongside the beautiful singing and music from Clare Hall and Edward Gribben. Thank you to staff, directors and supervisors at Beragh Credit Union for their dignified guard of honour at Dad’s funeral.
Thank you to Leo Donaghy and Paddy Montague for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral and wake arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger for preparing dad’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Farley’s, Beragh for providing refreshments after the funeral and to the GAA for use of the pavilion.
As it is impossible to thank everyone here, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation to everyone who provided support in any way.
Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, children Nuala, Matthew, James, Arthur and Máire, grandchildren and brothers and sisters.
Dad’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Beragh on Sunday 27th April 2025 at 11.30am.
