The brothers and sisters of the late Sean McConnell wish to thank all who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Grateful thanks to all who attended the Removal and the Requiem Mass, many travelling long distances. Thank you for the Mass and sympathy cards, messages, flowers and wreaths. Our gratitude to all the medical staff at the hospitals who cared for Sean in his illness and to the Ballgawley District Nursing Team. We thank the Emergency Teams for their care and empathy. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr Hannigan for his spiritual care, and to Fr Gallagher for celebrating the reverent and meaningful mass, it was very comforting. We thank Fr O’Dwyer and Canon McGahan for their prayerful support. Our sincere thanks to Malachi Cush and Damian Cullen for providing the outstanding and uplifting music, it truly enriched the mass. Our thanks to Mary the Sacristan, Kathleen, altar boys Charlie and Daithi, gift bearers Kerry and Declan, Eucharistic Ministers and readers.
We as a family will forever be grateful to Donal Mellon and Paudge Quinn, Funeral Directors, for the dedicated, caring, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out Sean’s funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Roisin. Sincere thanks to the gravedigger Brian Nugent for preparing Sean’s final resting place.

We thank all the staff at Quinn’s Corner for providing the lovely food after the funeral, it was much appreciated by all.
As an acknowledgement of our gratitude to everyone who supported us, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Sean’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 7th March at 7pm in St Patrick’s Church, Clogher.
