Died 27th March 2025. We, the family of the late Sean Mullin, wish to express our sincere thanks to all our family, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the kindness shown to us as we mourn the loss of a dear husband, father, granda, brother, brother in law, and uncle. In addition, we thank all those who called at the home with Sean during his short illness, which brought comfort and support to him.

A heartfelt thanks to all who attended the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolence. A very special word of thanks to all those who helped out during the wake, brought food, prepared refreshments, and erected the marquee. We greatly appreciate all you have done for us as a family and are truly touched by your kindness and generosity.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Lawrence Boyle for the meaningful Requiem mass and homily and to Paul the sacristan for his clerical support. Also thanks to Fr. Brian Mc Nally who provided spiritual support at home during Sean’s short illness.
To Justin Mc Gurk accompanied by Patrick Slevin for the reverent and uplifting music. It touched all who were present.

To Donaghy and Montague funeral directors for your dignified and considerate manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

To Fr O’ Dwyer for officiating the burial at St Mary’s Church Dunmoyle. Sincere thanks to the grave diggers for preparing Sean’s final resting place with such dignity and respect.

To the staff in Antrim Area Hospital, for your professionalism, and compassionate care provided to Sean in his final days. And to the staff of Loy Medical Centre Cookstown for your care over the years.

To Altamuskin Community centre for the provision of the hall and to Heaneys of Sixmilecross for the funeral refreshments.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a heartfelt and sincere expression of our gratitude and appreciation.

Sean’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Dunmoyle on Wednesday 30th April at 7pm.
