Stephen Harper

2pm on Wed 9 April at Dungiven Parish Church. It will be a family service open to anyone who knew him and would like to pay their respects and celebrate his life.

Stephen was a very much beloved husband, daddy, father-in-law, brother, son, granddad, uncle, friend and great uncle. Retired Sub-Postmaster and Engineer, dog and duck-whisperer, horse-dad, chicken-wrangler, fire-starter, tree-chopper, builder and fixer of everything.

Passed away suddenly in the immense beauty of Mount Tongariro.

“His golden heart, now at peace.
His tireless hands, their labors ceased.

With tearful eyes we watched and saw him pass away.
And though we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay.

And though he’s gone, his spirit prevails.
Guiding us through life’s joy and travails.

For those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day”

The family kindly requests donations to the organisations below in lieu of flowers.
