The death has occurred of:
Susan Duffy (née Timoney)
The family of the late Susan Duffy wish to express our deep appreciation and sincere thanks for the support shown following the loss of our devoted and dearly missed wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.
Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to extended family, friends, neighbours and community who sympathised and helped during this difficult time. Sincere gratitude is given to all who attended the wake, funeral, sent letters, sympathy cards and generous donations to the Motor Neurone Association (NI) Research.
We are truly grateful to all involved in providing food and refreshments during the wake. Thank you to those who facilitated parking on the morning of Susan’s funeral. Sincere thanks to Charles Lynch, Funeral Director, for his compassion and professionalism in leading the funeral arrangements and to those who prepared Susan’s final resting place.
Thank you to all who were present at the requiem Mass and joined us online. Deepest appreciation to Fr. Colhoun for his spiritual support during the wake. Special thanks to Fr. Donnelly for his special prayers for Susan and his beautiful words at the requiem mass. Many thanks to Mary for the poignant music and to Christine for sacristan duties. Thank you to all who provided refreshments afterwards in the Parish Hall.
Thank you to the doctors and consultants of Altnagelvin and the clinical trials teams in Beaumount and Craigavon Hospitals, who looked after Susan with such kindness and sincerity. A special word of appreciation to Dr Donaghy, Dr McCluskey (Neurology) and the highly dedicated specialists, including Corrys Chemist.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
The month’s mind Mass for Susan will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Plumbridge on Sunday 4th February at 10am.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
“Every day is a blessing. I’m so glad to be here.”
