Susie Donnelly (née Collins)

The family of the late Susie, wish to extend our deepest gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our sad bereavement.

Susie was a devoted wife to John, a much-loved mother to Darren, Charelene, Jonathan, Stacey, Leanne and Kayleigh.
A cherished nanny, loving sister, aunt and friend to many.

We would like to thank everyone who assisted throughout the wake and funeral. And to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who called to the wake house, brought food, sent mass and sympathy cards, messages, flowers, and for anyone who lined the funeral route for the removal to the chapel and those who joined the requiem mass, watched online and travelled from afar to be with us.

We are so fortunate to have the support and love of all our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. The support throughout this difficult time and continued support has helped us all in so many ways. We can’t thank you all enough.
A special word of thanks to Father Padraig McKenna for coming to the house on several occasions, all the prayers and blessing he gave Susie in her difficult time and passing, as well as Canon John McKenna who visited and both their involvement at her funeral mass.

Thanking everyone who took part in liturgy, especially our readers, the Uilleann pipe player Chris McMullan, singer Fergal McAloon and guitarist Stevie Corrigan who all made Susie’s Funeral Mass a very memorable one.
Great thanks to the Kelly Funeral Directors for a very dignified and professional service carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Susie’s final resting place.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the district nurses who came to Susie every day, to Dr Paul Reilly who called to the house several times, to the hospice team, the palliative care team, and all other health services that attended her in her time of need. We are so grateful to you all and honestly words cannot express how much we appreciated all you did for her and us, a huge thanks to each and every one of you.

We know it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Susie is deeply missed every day. May her gentle, generous, kind, loving soul be granted peace and eternal rest.

Susie’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Sunday 8th December 2024 at 11am

Our Lady pray for her.
