WILLIAM SPENCE The wife, son and family of William Spence who passed away on 14th June 2024 wish to express sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathized with them during their recent bereavement.

A heartfelt thanks to our extended famity, friends and neighbours who supported us during this difficult time.

To all who attended the wake, brought food and gifts to the home, helped in the home, lined the funeral route and attended the funeral we are very grateful. We also wish to thank all who sent messages by letter, card, telephone, text or social media. We are also indebted to all who sent donations (in lieu of flowers) for Air Ambulance NI.

Thanks are extended to the Drs, nurses and staff of Oaks Family Practice Cookstown and Damian Gormley and his team in McAleer Medical Hall pharmacy in Pomeroy for their care and advice that was much appreciated by the family.

To the Cookstown District Nursing Team and the Mid Ulster Community Care Team, we appreciate your support in facilitating care at home with the vital input from Support Care staff and Ann's Home Care NI. Your professionalism, care and kindness shown to us all
will not be forgotten.

We also gratefully appreciate the kindness and compassion shown towards Willie and ourselves by the Drs, nurses and staff of Ward 1 Loane House, South Tyrone Hospital, Dungannon, the staff of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Drs and nurses in
the Emergency Department and Ward 1 North in Craigavon Area Hospital.

To Cookstown Baptist Church, we are thankful for the use of the church and the hall (kindly granted) for the funeral service. We appreciate the help, support and prayers of the Pastor, church elders, church members and the congregation at this difficult time.

Grateful thanks are extended to Jim Wishart for taking the funeral service and Alan Wishart for leading a warm and deeply moving personal tribute to Willie and for conducting the service at the committal.

Our thanks go to Edith Blair and her staff for catering after the service.

Finally a special word of thanks to John and all his staff at John McGucken and Co, Funeral Directors Cookstown for all their professionalism and support during the wake and the funeral.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.'
Matthew 11:28-29.
