Aknowledgement / Month's Mind Mass

We, the family of the late Willie Kelly wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement and for the support and love throughout his illness and during his final days. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards and messages, phoned us, made a donation in memory of Willie or sent flowers.
We were particularly touched by the kindness of our own family circle from Derry and Donegal, our neighbours and friends and to those who called to the house or attended the funeral, especially those who travelled a long distance.
This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.

Our sincerest thanks go to all the medical staff and healthcare professionals who cared for Willie with respect, and dignity, especially the GP's in Aberfoyle Medical Practice alongside Catherine White's District Nursing team, the staff in the Foyle Hospice in-patient unit and community team, all the staff in Spruce House, Hospital at Home team, Marie Curie and Rapid Response nurses. Words cannot express how grateful we are to the care that you provided.

We will be forever grateful for all the carers that looked after Willie in the comfort of his own home for the past 20 years from North West Care, Strabane District Caring and Advanced Care. To Patrice, Shauna and Jonathan,
Willie adored you all and considered you as family.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Fr Canny and Fr Lagan for visiting in Willie's final days and throughout the wake. A special thanks to Fr. Tom Ryan for making the journey to Derry to officiate the most beautiful Requiem Mass for Willie, your words provided us with so much comfort and pride as you spoke so fondly of Willie.
Thank you to Lauren and Isabel for the wonderful music.

Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to Thomas Quigley and Son, Funeral Directors for their professionalism and the compassionate handling of all the funeral arrangements, which was greatly appreciated during such a difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Willie's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 2nd March at 11.00am
in St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry. All welcome.
