We the Shields family of the late Willie Shields, 27 Fardross Road, Clogher, would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to each person who called to our family home over the wake, sent mass cards, phoned, sent letters of sympathy and attended the funeral some of whom travelled a long distance, Dad was truly blessed to have friends and family who loved him dearly.
Thank you to all who sent food, biscuits, and gifts. Especially to Kieran, Tanya, and Christina for the lovely food during the wake and to all who helped make tea and sandwiches within our home.

Our sincere thanks to the healthcare workers who dearly cared for and helped us care for Dad in his home over the past few months, especially the Clogher District nursing team. The Marie Curie Team, Palliative Care, and James in the Valley Pharmacy in Clogher, we are truly thankful. The help and support we received as a family will not be forgotten.

Thank you to the Clogher Eire Og football members who helped with parking, Dad's Nephews, and friends who braved the cold to ensure all people safely got to say their final goodbyes to Dad.

We are grateful to Eugene Mc Connell for going above and beyond to help get the electricity for the wake, and to Classic Marble Showers for ensuring we had electricity before this.

A Special mention to Fr N Mc Gahan who visited Daddy throughout his illness and long before as a friend to him. Thank you for celebrating his funeral mass so beautifully.

A sincere thank you to our family friend Paul Mohan who carried out Dad’s funeral arrangements in a dignified and professional manner and to Phelim Mc Kenna for assisting at the funeral Mass. We as a family will be forever grateful.
To Karen (Tully) who sang at the funeral Mass, we thank you sincerely.
