The family of the late Agnes Devlin would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us and sympathised with us following the loss of our much-loved wife and Mummy.
We, her husband Sean, daughter Shaunagh, and son Noel, are deeply grateful to all those who called at the wake, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, flowers, messages and phone calls, left online condolences, and kept us in their thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, support and comforting words have been a great source of strength and comfort during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Bridie’s Chippy and Tasty Macs for so generously providing food during the wake, and to Camilius and Monica from Kinturk Centre for providing food after the funeral. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Devlins for preparing the field for parking during the wake and for their kindness and help at such an important time. We are also grateful to all our family, friends, neighbours, nieces and nephews for their love, support and practical help throughout the wake and funeral.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Tremer for celebrating such a beautiful Funeral Mass and for his guidance and support during this difficult time. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Donnelly for his kindness, support and pastoral care shown to our family before the funeral. We would also like to thank Margaret Ann and Patrick for the beautiful music and singing, which made the service so special and provided great comfort to our family.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for the professionalism, dignity, compassion and kindness shown to our family throughout the funeral arrangements. Your guidance and support were greatly appreciated. We also thank the gravedigger for preparing Mummy’s final resting place with such care and dignity, and Maura at Floral Occasions for the beautiful flowers that added so much beauty and meaning to the funeral.
A heartfelt thank you to the District Nurses, especially Alanna, Jenna, Nichola, Maureen, Sadie and Pauline, along with Marie Curie and all the carers, for the exceptional care, compassion and kindness shown to Mummy during her illness. We are also deeply grateful to the staff of Antrim Area Hospital, Coagh Pharmacy, and the doctors and staff at Coagh Medical Centre for the care, support and kindness they provided.
As a family, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and support shown to us, not only from our local community but from everyone who reached out during this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.
Agnes’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 17th August 2026 at 7.30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moortown. The Mass may also be viewed via the church webcam for those unable to attend in person.
