Called home suddenly 27th September 2025 at home.

Loving and devoted husband of Hazel. Much loved father of Tracy, Michele and Lee. Loving father-in-law of Aaron, Charlie and Lisa. Proud and devoted granda of Bradley, Grace, Steven, Miley, Emily, Katie-Lee, Frankie, Amelia, Ethan, Scarlett, Lewis and Hollie-Mae. Beloved brother of Ann, Bill, Stephen, Roger and Heather and much-loved nephew of Ethel.

A service of thanksgiving for Alan’s life will take place on Friday 3rd October 2025
at 12 noon at Carrick Elim Pentecostal Church followed by a private family committal at Ballyclare Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke (N.I.C.H.S.) c/o S&J Irvine 31-35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL (cheques made payable to the above charity please; card payments welcome via telephone on 028 9335 1540 Mon-Fri (9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Cash donations also welcome.)
Alan will be loved and remembered always by the entire family circle.

We shared so much together, laughter joy and tears, now all we have are memories, sprayed with a million tears.
