Alastair John SHEPHERD
SHEPHERD - The family of the late Alastair (Ali) John Shepherd wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent loss.
We offer our grateful thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who called to express their condolences, sent cards, provided refreshments and attended the funeral, and to all who sent donations to Macmillan Unit Antrim Area Hospital.
Our sincere thanks to the Hospital Diversion Nursing and the District Nursing teams for their outstanding care and compassion to Alastair and his family at home.
We would like to thank all the staff in the Macmillan Unit of Antrim Area Hospital for all the care and attention given, not only to Alastair but to us, his family during his time there.
Thank you to Rev Alan Dickey for his support during Alastair’s illness and for conducting the service in the home and graveside, and to those who prepared the grave.
A very big thank you goes to Ali’s friends and colleagues in the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service who provided a guard of honour of personnel and ambulances at the home and graveyard. It was very special.
We would like to thank Stanley and Emma Junk for preparing the McNeece hall for the lovely tea provided by Vera Kimmons.
We appreciated the support and attention of Dereck Marshall & Sons, Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral arrangements in a caring, dignified and professional manner.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our thanks and appreciation.
