Alex (Neighbour) Trainor
The family of the late Alex Trainor would like to express a few words of thanks after the death of our beloved husband, dad, grandad and great-grandad.
Sincere appreciation to the doctors and receptionists at Bovally Medical Centre, Respiratory Nursing team, Foyle hospice nursing team, Marie Curie nurses, Limavady district nurses and community care staff who provided dignity, kindness, support and professionalism so Alex could remain at home in the comfort of his family.
To everyone who visited the family home, phoned and provided the family with love and support gave us all great comfort. We truly appreciate those who sent sympathy cards, food and donations to Alzheimer’s society. Many thanks to Scotty O’Connor (Something Special) and Jean (Munch Bunch) for supplying food and Limavady United Football Club for the use of the hall after the funeral.
A special thanks to Rev Brownlow and Rev Wilson for conducting the house service, the service at Enagh Cemetery and for calling at the family home during Alex’s illness to pray with the family.
Lastly Thomas and Brendan O’Brien funeral directors who came into the family home and were so gracious and supportive to us all. We are truly grateful for their dignified management, guidance and attention.
As it is impossible to thank everyone personally please know that the Trainor and Simpson families are forever grateful.
