Alice Barnett (née Hilliard)

BARNETT – Alice Sophia (nee Hilliard) 18th October 2023.

The daughters and family circle of the late Alice Barnett wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported them through their recent sad loss. Also, many thanks to all those who sent sympathy cards, letters, left online tributes, sent donations in lieu of flowers, gifts of food, those who helped out at the wake in any way and those who attended the wake and funeral. Your love and support has been greatly appreciated by us all.
A very special thank you to Canon Robert Clarke for his friendship and pastoral care over the many years and for the beautiful funeral service which was such a fitting tribute to mum. Also thanks to he organist Mrs Marion Haddow. We also greatly appreciated the help and support from Gillygooley Youth and Community Development Association for the use of equipment during the wake. Sincere thanks to all the carers – the Reablement Team, North West Care and Lakeland Care, who looked after mum so well over the past few years. Sincere thanks also to the Doctors and staff from Grange Family Practice for all their support and attention and to the District nurses for their care. Also thanks to the Social Worker, Susan and the Occupational therapists, Samantha and Lisa for all their help and assistance.
A special mention also to Kevin Kelly and staff in Kelly’s chemist for all the help and support to mum. Sincere thanks also to the medical and nursing staff from Ward 8 in the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. We would also like to thank the great friends and neighbours, especially Kathleen, Heather, Sam, Joan, Mary, Peggy and Liam who called with mum regularly and kept her company.
Our deep appreciation also to Robert Armstrong, Derek Armstrong and Fred Breen for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers who prepared mum’s final resting place. Thanks to the management and staff of the Silverbirch Hotel for the delicious refreshments provided after mum’s funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Omagh and Dungannon.
