Alice Devlin
The brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and family circle of the late Alice Devlin wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to those who called at our sister Christina’s home, attended the funeral in person or via the webcam, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolences, messages and telephone calls. A special word of thanks to all our kind friends and relations and extended family who helped in so many ways. We sincerely thank all those who cared for Alice in the past couple of years, especially the staff in Bryansburn Care Home, Bangor and Oakridge Care Home, Ballynahinch. Special thanks go to Fr. Michael McCaul and Fr. Eugene Hasson for their spiritual guidance and support. Our sincere gratitude to Fr. McCaul for celebrating Alice’s Funeral Mass. The music provided by Bernie Devlin enhanced the mass so beautifully, we are thankful for this. We are extremely grateful to Leo Donaghy and Paddy Montague, Funeral Directors, for the considerate, professional and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements and to the gravediggers who prepared Alices final resting place. Thanks to the Sacristan, Declan Norris and Judith from Floral Temptations. Thanks also to Mairead and Mark McBride for providing refreshments following the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Alice’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Friday the 3rd of November at the Sacred Heart Church at 7:30pm.
