The family of Andrew Doherty would like to express our sincere heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral, some from considerable distances, and others who joined the Mass online, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolences and floral tributes. We thank all our relatives, neighbours and friends who assisted in every way.
We thank Fr Seán O’Donnell for his prayers and support, and for the kind words and thoughtful homily and funeral Mass. We thank Damian McAdams and Sarah McGarrity for the beautiful music and singing.
A special word of thanks to all of the medical team at Altnagelvin Hospital especially the nurses and doctors in Ward 40 who provided care over the last few weeks.
Many thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors, for the sensitive, professional, and dignified way that they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
