The family of the late Angela McLaughlin wish to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all who offered sympathy and support during their recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to those who attended the wake and funeral mass. Your words of support, sympathy cards, gifts of food, and heartfelt stories of your memories with Angela brought us great comfort during difficult days.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all medical staff and allied health professionals who cared for Angela during her very short illness, in particular: Dr Patrick Doherty’s GP Surgery; Foyle Hospice; Marie Curie; her district nurses; the oncology and respiratory teams at Altnagelvin Hospital; Ward 7A at Royal Victoria Hospital; and the staff at Medicare O’Hare’s Pharmacy.
We extend our deepest thanks to Fr. Farren and Fr. Doherty for their prayers and guidance during the wake. We are especially thankful to Fr. Farren for the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you also to Erin Carlin, Robert Peoples and Isobel Caldwell for the ethereal singing and music during the Requiem Mass.

Our sincere thanks to those who helped at the wake—we would have been lost without you—especially: Angela; Terri; Annette; and Patricia.
Additional thanks to Sean Carr and his staff from Abbey Funeral Directors for their professionalism and guidance throughout.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually but we hope this acknowledgment sufficiently conveys our deepest gratitude for your support. The Month’s Mind Mass for Angela will be celebrated on Sunday 19th July 2026 at 12.30pm in St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry.
Our Lady of Knock, pray for her.
Padre Pio, pray for her.
Our Lady of Fátima, pray for her.

Have you considered?
