Diane, Andrew, Eve, Ella Rose and the extended family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent tragic bereavement.
Thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages of condolences. Also to those who held our hands and offered a reassuring hug. All your support has been a great comfort to us at the saddest of times. We will be forever grateful to everyone who travelled from near and far to pay their respects at the wake and funeral, or viewed the Requiem Mass online. Also to those neighbours and friends who brought refreshments and flowers and to those who helped serve at the wake.
We will always be grateful to the emergency services and Family Liaison Officers who offered support to Angela’s immediate family and to those who cared for her at the scene, in particular the Rev David Cupples.
We would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to Fr Vincent McKay for the personalised Requiem Mass and to John Murray for his support in the house. Also to Angela’s good friend, Fr Gerry McCloskey for composing the homily from the USA. A sincere thank you to Matthew Campbell for the beautiful music that accompanied the service. Thanks also to Patsy Fitzsimons and Stephen Morgan who gave us direction and went over and above to include all the small personalised details in a dignified way that meant so much to the family
Thanks to Currans Bar, Chapeltown for the lovely food after Angela’s funeral.
It would be impossible to thank everyone, however we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of sincere gratitude.
Angela’s Month Mind Mass will be held in St Nicholas’ Church Ardglass, on Saturday 28th February at 5.00pm.
