Anne-Marie Quinn (née Gormley)
The family of the late Anne-Marie Quinn (née Gormley) wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support following the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of sympathy, and especially to those who travelled long distances to be with us during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to our wonderful neighbours, friends and local businesses who brought food, served refreshments, and helped with parking during the wake. Our sincere thanks to Rory Madden for assisting the granddaughters in providing the beautiful music during the Funeral Mass.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Michael O'Dwyer for his guidance, support, and for the lovely Funeral Mass as well as Father Patrick Hannigan for his spiritual guidance. We also wish to thank Paudge Quinn and Ben Brady for the professionalism, compassion, and dignity shown throughout the wake and funeral. Thanks also to the gravediggers for preparing Granny’s final resting place.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Nightingale Nursing Home for the care and kindness shown to Granny during her final months. We also extend our sincere thanks to all the home help staff who cared for her over the years. Thanks also to Quinn's Corner and all their staff for providing the food and refreshments after the funeral.
We have been truly overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and support shown to our family. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
Anne-Marie's month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Friday August 7th at 7.30pm in St Joseph’s Church Ackinduff.
