The family of the late Anne Lavelle, who died on the 24th of June 2025, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the support, kindness, and compassion that we as a family have received over these recent sad and difficult times.
A special word of thanks to the management and staff at Daisy Hill Hospital and Craigavon Area Hospital who cared for Anne during her short illness. We will be eternally grateful for all your efforts and the level of compassion and professionalism shown during Anne's care.
Sincere thanks to the many friends and neighbours who came to the wake and attended the funeral and to everyone who travelled a great distance to be with us. Thank you to Shaundelle for live streaming the service for family in Sydney and New York and also to those who expressed their condolences via online messages, telephone calls, Mass cards and charity donations. Thankyou to the local businesses who brought food to the wake it really is appreciated and to Sean McCann for providing the marquee.
Thanks to Eilis Quinn for the fitting floral arrangement.
A special word of thanks to all those who participated in the funeral mass, especially celebrant Fr Murphy, the readers, Dearbhla and Joanne who sang and played beautifully and Laura for her precious reflection on Anne's life.
Our appreciation to Martin Kelly Funeral Directors, his wife also for their professionalism and the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thank you to the grave diggers for their work carried out at the grave. Thank you to the principal and staff of St Malachy’s Ballymoyer for the use of their Wi-Fi during the funeral. We also express our thanks to the Mountain House management and staff for the food and drink it was beautiful. Thankyou to a close family friend "Mickey the butcher" for the lovely singing in the graveyard after the burial.

Finally, we want to acknowledge our own extended family and friends who helped out during the wake and funeral and who continue to support us on this journey.
We, as a family, are overwhelmed by the love and support shown to us at this difficult time. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt thanks.
Anne’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 26th July @6pm in St. Malachy’s Church Ballymoyer.
