The death has occurred of:
Annette Cowan
The family of the late Annette Cowan wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all those who visited McAnulty’s Funeral Home, sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and condolences, or supported us in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness, support and generosity have meant so much to us and will never be forgotten.
We would especially like to thank the carers from Ann’s Care Home, L&B Care Services, and the staff of St Joseph’s Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Annette throughout her illness.
Our sincere thanks to all who attended Annette’s Funeral Mass, and to those who joined via webcam. We would also like to thank everyone who participated in the Funeral Mass, especially Monsignor Hugh Connolly for his comforting and thoughtful words, and Dermot McQuaid and Maria Flynn for the beautiful music.
A special word of thanks to the staff of the Fairways Restaurant at Warrenpoint Golf Club for hosting the family following the Funeral Mass, and to the Lough & Quay for their generosity and kindness in the time leading up to Annette’s passing.
Finally, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to Cathal McAnulty and all the staff of McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professionalism, dignity and care shown to our family, and for the respectful manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Annette’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 16th May at 6.00pm in Mary Queen of Peace Church, Warrenpoint.
