The family of the late Annette Parkinson would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Annette was a widely respected lady and a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake, brought food, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and the staff of Slieve Na Mon Nursing Home who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Stephen Baxter for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician Bernie who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Aaron for preparing Annette’s final resting place. Our thanks also to McGinn’s Killyclogher for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Annette’s care, especially the staff of Slieve Na Mon Nursing Home
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Annette is ever loved and sadly missed. May her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest. Annette’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Christ The King Church, Strathroy on Tuesday 13th October at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for her.
