The death has occurred of:
Ann McNAMEE (née Hunter)
Ann McNamee (née Hunter), Sixmilecross.
As we take time to grieve the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, we, her family, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us, attended the wake, sent Mass or sympathy cards or messages of condolence and to those who gave and continue to give donations to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers.
We are deeply grateful to her sister Frances, cousin Maureen, nieces and nephews and our extended family for their support. We want to especially thank Mum's very close friends for the love and attention they showed her in her lifetime and we thank her other friends and neighbours for the help and care shown to us at this sad time.
We are especially grateful to the many people and businesses who brought food to the house and to all those who helped in any way before, during and after the wake.
We are grateful to all who shared their memories with us and told us lovely stories about her daily life, which were a great comfort to us.
We thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Carrickmore Health Centre for their dutiful care. Our heartfelt appreciation to the District Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and the Palliative Care team and the staff of Paul Tallon Chemist, all of whom helped us care for Mum in her own home where she was comfortable and content.
We gratefully appreciate the very heartfelt words by Very Rev. Fr. Sean McCartan PP and for celebrating her life during Requiem Mass and we also thank him, and Mum's lifelong friend Fr. Patrick McCrory, most sincerely for spiritually attending her in recent times.
Our thanks to the sacristan, Eucharistic ministers and altar servers, also to Donna Taggart and Damian Cullen for the singing and music that enhanced the Liturgy so beautifully, and to everyone else who took part in the Requiem Mass.
A special word of thanks to Fergal, and his team at Farley's Funeral Directors for their dignified care and respect of Mummy and also the care shown towards us as a family, in guiding us through the preparations for her funeral. Grateful thanks and appreciation also to the catering team from Farley's for the refreshments after the funeral and to Beragh Red Knights GAA for the use of the Pavilion and also for their respectful guard of honour along with Errigal Ciarán GAC outside the chapel. Our thanks and gratitude also to Ciaran Conroy for preparing Mummy's final resting place with Daddy.
We trust and pray that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Beragh, on Sunday 8th March at 11.30am.
Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for her.
