Gilbert, Jimmy, John, Joey and Jeanie, would like to sincerely thank everyone who offered their sympathy, prayers and support following the sad loss of our much-loved wife, Mammy and Granny, Ann Messenger.
A heartfelt thank you to Fr Shaun Doherty for visiting Ann in hospital. To Fr Paul Farren and Fr Shaun for the beautiful Mass and graveside prayers and for all your support and prayers during the wake.
Monica McGuigan, thank you so much for the beautiful singing at the Mass. Ann knew who she wanted and you did not let her, or us down. It was truly moving and brought such comfort to us all.
Thank you to those who made tea and helped in any way during the wake and after the funeral service.
We would also like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers, messages and condolences, and those who kept “Ma” in their thoughts and prayers.
A very special thank you to all the neighbours in Creggan Rd. We will be forever grateful that her and Dad have such wonderful friends.
To the paramedics and A&E staff at Altnagelvin who cared for Mammy, we thank you dearly.
A very special thank you to Kieran and everyone at W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for your professionalism and compassion in helping us through every detail of Mammy’s funeral arrangements.
You made a very difficult time that little bit easier for our family, taking care of everything with such care and understanding. Thank you for helping us give Mammy the beautiful farewell she deserved.
Ann's Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday, 29th August in St Eugene's Cathedral Derry at 6.15pm.
May she rest in peace.
