We, the family of the late Ann Murphy, who passed away on 13th March 2026, would like to sincerely thank everyone who offered sympathy, kindness, and support during the recent bereavement of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister, and aunt.
We thank the people who attended her wake and funeral, and those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolence. Hearing your stories and seeing how much she was thought of helped us more than words can say. Thank you for being there.
To our kind neighbours and friends who brought food to the wake or helped in anyway, our deepest appreciation with special thanks to Majella and Christine who went above and beyond.
Special word of thanks to the medical staff in Ward 26, Altnagelvin Hospital without you all it would not have been possible to spend that special time with our much-loved mother, granny, sister, and aunt.
We are very grateful to Sarah McGarrity and Isobel Caldwell for their beautiful music which added so much to the Requiem Mass.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to McClafferty Funeral Directors for their kindness, professionalism and support throughout the wake and funeral. Their guidance and attention to detail were such a great comfort to our family during such a difficult time.
Thank you also to the grave diggers who prepared Ann’s final resting place.
Finally, the prayers, kindness and sympathy shown by so many people have been a great comfort to our family. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
