The death has occurred of:
Ann SOMERVILLE
The family of the late Ann Somerville would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered support, kindness and sympathy following the loss of a much-loved aunt and great-aunt.
We are truly grateful to all those who sent sympathy cards and messages, attended the funeral and gave donations in lieu of flowers to St. Mark’s Parish Church Fabric Fund, Armagh.
Special thanks to Canon Malcolm Kingston and Rev Sarah Parkinson for visiting Ann at home and in hospital, for their pastoral care for Ann and her family and for conducting such a fitting funeral service. Thanks also to Dean Robert Townley for his pastoral support. Thank you to Mr David Mansbridge for all his help at St. Mark’s Parish Church, also to Isaac and Susanna Kingston for recording the service. Our thanks also go to William and Sharon Conn of Simply Good Catering for providing the beautiful refreshments following the service.
A special word of thanks to Stephen and Matthew Stoops, Funeral Directors, for the caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, also for their consideration of the family at such a difficult time. Thank you also to the gravedigger Matthew Dougan.
We are sincerely grateful to the staff in Abbey Court Surgery, especially Dr Conor Moore who went above and beyond to care for Ann in her own home. A special word of thanks must go the staff of the Acute Care at Home Team for the compassionate way in which they looked after Ann. We are truly grateful to the staff in Gordon’s Chemist Armagh for all their help and advice and for whom nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks also to the staff at Ann’s Home Care and Rutledge who provided care for Ann in recent months. We are thankful for the District Nurses and Memory Services who cared for and supported Ann at home.
The family would also like to thank the private carers who were a great support to Ann and enabled her to remain in her own home.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude at this difficult time.
