The death has occurred of:
Aoife BOYLE
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Tanya, Patrick, Rob and all of Aoife’s family wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We offer heartfelt thanks to all those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers, made donations, brought food, and helped with tea throughout the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us at such a sad time.
We extend a special word of thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and medical professionals whom Aoife came into contact with during her short life, especially Dr Casey and the team at Eglinton Medical Practice; Dr Doherty and the staff of Ward 4E at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast; Dr McCarron, Dr Kelly, Mary, Grainne, Shannon, and the staff of Ward 22; and finally Damien Mullan and all the amazing staff at Foyle Hospice. We will never be able to thank you enough for the utmost love and care you showed Aoife and our family.
A special word of thanks also to Fr Noel McDermott for visiting Aoife every day during the final weeks before her death and for officiating such a beautiful service. Thanks also to Monsignor Dolan for his support, guidance, and kindness during such a difficult time.
We would also like to thank Erin Carlin and Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful music, and Cassidy’s Café for providing a lovely tea and service after the burial.
Finally, sincere thanks to Kieran, Noeleen, and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
Aoife’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin, on Sunday 17th May 2026 at 10.00am.
