The death has occurred of:
Arthur Murphy
The family of the late Arthur Murphy wishes to express our deep and sincere thanks to all who supported us during our recent bereavement. Your presence and prayers have brought huge comfort at a difficult time.
Thank you to all who called at the house, telephoned, left social media messages, sent cards, attended the funeral Mass and sent donations to Marie Curie.
The family wish to offer their appreciation to all those who cared for Arthur during his short illness; Dr Gaston and the staff of the Tempo- Brookeborough medical practice, the staff of SWAH; Emergency Care and Ward 1, where he was under the care of Dr Valley and Dr Dolan. The district nursing team, especially Colleen Beggan, the rapid response team and Marie Curie and palliative care teams and Sandra and the team at Brookeborough Pharmacy.
Thank you to the Brookeborough GAA club for the use of their facilities to serve refreshments after the burial.
A special thank you to Fr Brendan Gallagher for his pastoral and prayerful support throughout Arthur’s illness and as celebrant of the funeral Mass with Fr Declan Shannon concelebrating, and to all the clergy who called at the house or sent messages of prayerful support.
Special thanks also to Ollie and Conor, Swift and Mc Caffrey funeral directors for your care and dedication and for the professional manner with which you managed the wake and funeral service and to Karen McElroy for the beautiful music during the funeral liturgy.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will convey our deep appreciation to you all.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Arthur will be celebrated on Saturday 16th August at 7,00pm, St Mary’s Church, Brookeborough
