Audrey Joan Majury (91, née Torney) passed away peacefully at her home on March 7, 2026. Audrey worked in the secretarial pool at the RVH, then as a home visitor with the NSPCC and later trained as a primary school teacher, working at Donaghadee Primary for most of her teaching career.

Audrey’s family are so grateful for May and Carol, for their friendship and support for Audrey, as well as her carers, the district nursing team, and staff with the Hospital at Home service.
A short public service of thanksgiving will be held on Thursday March 12th at 9.20am in the chapel at the City of Belfast Crematorium (Roselawn), 127 Ballygowan Rd, Crossnacreevy, Belfast BT5 7TZ.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, no flowers please. If you would like instead to make a donation in her memory, please consider making it via her MuchLoved tribute page to one of two charities that were especially close to Audrey’s heart – the NI Hospice or the NSPCC
