Barbara McDowell
In Loving Memory of Barbara McDowell, passed away 27th September 2026 peacefully at Saintfield Lodge Care Home, aged 78 years.
Barbara was a much-loved, and her life was one that held many different chapters. Like many relationships, ours was not always easy, and there were times when life brought distance and challenges between us. But she was, and always will be, an important part of my story.
Barbara had a particular fondness for robins, and they will now be a lasting reminder of her. Whenever one appears, it may bring a moment to pause, remember, and reflect on the life she lived.
Today, I choose to remember Barbara with kindness, to honour the good moments, and to acknowledge the complicated ones too.
May she now rest peacefully.
