The family of the late Barbara Patterson – Rhonda (Colin), Andrew (Donna), Richard (Kathryn), Mary (Gareth), Betty, Tom, Billy, Jean and Sadie, together with the wider family circle, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us following the loss of our dearly loved mum.
The kindness, love and compassion shown to us over the past weeks has been overwhelming and has brought us great comfort at such a difficult time. Whether you sent a card or message, left a kind comment on Facebook, phoned, called at the wake, attended the funeral, brought food, kept us in your thoughts and prayers, or generously donated in Mum's memory to The Lord Enniskillen Memorial Orange Society and Air Ambulance N.I., please know how truly grateful we are. Every gesture of kindness, no matter how big or small, has meant so much to us and will never be forgotten.
We would also like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Causeway Hospital for the care, compassion and kindness they showed Mum and our family.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Rev. Michael Currie for his support, prayers and for leading such a beautiful and comforting funeral service. We are also deeply grateful to Andrew Taylor for his touching words and personal tribute to Mum, which captured her so beautifully.
Thank you to The Royal Hotel for providing and serving the refreshments after the service so thoughtfully.
To our family, friends and Mum's Chuck Wagon family, thank you for the love, friendship and support you gave Mum throughout her life. She thought so much of you all, and it is a great comfort to know how loved and respected she was.
Finally, our sincere thanks go to Bryan, Carole Steenson and everyone at R. Steenson & Sons Funeral Directors for their kindness, professionalism and compassion, and for guiding us through every step with such dignity and care.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt gratitude. We will always be thankful for the love and support shown to our family during one of the most difficult times in our lives.
