We would especially like to thank all our kind friends, neighbours and family who helped and supported us in so many ways.
To all those who called at the wake, attended the funeral, brought mass cards and sympathy cards, left floral tributes, sent messages and posted on social media we are so grateful and deeply appreciate them all. We were truly touched by his fellow A.A. members who came from far and wide to sympathise with us and would like to take this opportunity to thank them all.
We are also profoundly grateful to all those who brought or sent food, made teas, assisted with parking, and helped out in any way at the family home. Thank you to Kevin & Ciaran McElvogue for providing the marquees.
A special word of thanks to Fr McGuckin and Fr Breslin for their prayers and pastoral care during the wake and to Father Slater PP for his patience, empathy and invaluable support and guidance throughout; the beautiful and personal Requiem Mass and dignified interment afterwards.
