In loving memory of Barry Hasson, who sadly passed away on 6th September 1986.
Forty years on
Forty years have come and gone,
Like seasons turning, bright and long
Yet in our hearts, your steps remain
A quiet joy, past grief and pain.
You planted seeds of truth and grace,
That time can never, e’er erase
The years move fast, the world hums new
But everyday brings thoughts of you.
Not gone, just changed to gentle light,
A guiding star in quiet night.
For love outlasts the forty years
And smiles outlast the heaviest tears.
Sorely missed and forever loved by your children,
Thomas, Seamus, Deirdre, Patsy, Sineád, Colin, Sharon and Paula,
Your sons-in-law and partners, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barry's Anniversary mass will take place in St Joseph's Church, Galliagh at 11am on Sunday 6th September 2026.
