Acknowledgement.
Barry Marlow, Fintona, Co Tyrone.
Died 29th November 2025.

The recent untimely loss of our much loved Barry has left a deep void in the lives and hearts of all who knew and loved him. Barry was a widely respected gentleman, but primarily he was a devoted family man. Adored father of Shane, Aoife and Daire, beloved son of Michael and Bernie, dearly loved brother of Ciaran, Aine and the late Bronagh and uncle of Abi, Isla and Grace, also a very dear cousin and friend. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Sincere thanks to all who brought food and to those who helped serve tea, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who telephoned, sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route or joined us at the Requiem Mass, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, your support has helped us in so many ways, to find strength and grieve together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Father Seán Mulligan P.P for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, our Soloist Sinead Taggart, and her accompanist Damian Cullen who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Barry’s final resting place. Also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Barry is loved and missed every day. May his kind and generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 27th December at 10am. St. Padre Pio and St. Martin pray for him.
