We the family of the late Basil Virtue wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to all those who attended the wake and funeral, also all those who sent sympathy cards and flowers to the house, telephoned and left messages on social media. Your kindness brought us great comfort.
A special thanks to Reverend Jane Nelson for such a beautiful farewell service for Basil and Daryl Simpson for his great musicianship, as well as wider church family for their ongoing support. Sincere thanks to Armstrong Funeral Directors and Memorials for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out their duties, making the most difficult time that little bit easier. Thank you also to Barbara Pinkerton for the lovely refreshments in the church hall after the funeral.
