The family of the late Basil Wilson (R.I.P.) would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement of a much-loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
We would like to express our gratitude to all who called to the home, sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought food, gifts and floral tributes, attended the funeral and helped in so many ways. We will be eternally grateful.
Sincere thanks to David Dunne who said such comforting prayers and reflections at both the prayer service and burial.
Thank you to the Phoenix Bar and Scullery Catering for providing the refreshments following the burial. We would also like to thank Tina & Sean Knox and Gary & Lorraine McCready for all that they did.
A special word of thanks to Dr. Chris, Dr. Elder and all the staff at Ward 50, North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital for their compassionate care of Basil during his short illness. As well as the staff of both the Abbey Medical Centre and O’Hare’s Pharmacy for their professional care over many years.
We sincerely thank Kieran and the team at Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the thoughtful, professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.
Thanks also to the gravediggers who prepared Basil’s final resting place.
