We the family of Bernadette McKenna wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us during our recent and very sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge and thank from the bottom of our hearts all those who attended the wake, brought food, sent Mass and sympathy cards, offered condolences or supported us in any way.
We wish to thank Father Sweeney for the beautiful and heartfelt requiem mass. We have take much comfort from your thoughtful and kind words. We would also like to thank Father Kelly for your comfort during Bernadette’s short illness.
Thank you to everyone who attended Bernadette’s Requiem mass or joined us online your presence, prayers and support brought great comfort to our family.
We wish to thank Jolene and Martin for the beautiful singing and music which added such a special and fitting touch to Bernadette’s funeral mass and made the service even more meaningful for our family.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to McLaughlin Funeral Directors, who cared for Bernadette and our family with such dignity, compassion and professionalism from the moment we notified them of her passing. They took care of every detail with such kindness and sensitivity, allowing us the precious time and space to be with Bernadette, grieve together and simply be a family during such a difficult time.They helped us give Bernadette the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserved, and for that we will be forever grateful.
We would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Foyle Hospice, the district nursing team and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Belfast City Hospital for their care and support during Bernadette’s short illness.
