We, the family of the late Bernard (Barney) McNamee, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Barney was a devoted husband of Bernie, a much loved father, father-in-law, Granda and great Granda.
We also wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our extended family, friends and neighbours who provided emotional support at such a difficult time.
We would like to thank everyone who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and donations in lieu of flowers and to all who attended the wake and funeral.
Our thanks go to the health care professionals and Barney's medical team in North West Cancer Centre, who cared for him.
We also thank Fr Kevin Malcolmson for a beautiful and meaningful funeral mass and for the spiritual support he provided to Barney. We will never forget his kindness. It was a great comfort at such a difficult time. We would like to give a word of thanks to Karen McElroy for the beautiful music during the mass . We also thank the sacristans and the Eucharistic ministers.
Our sincere thanks to Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Directors for their help, compassion and professionalism throughout such a difficult time.

Barney is sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew him. Barney's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 8th of March at 11.30am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newtownbutler.
