The family of the late Betty Laughlin nee McGarry (Portstewart) wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our sad bereavement. We especially would like to thank everyone who sent messages, called during the wake, sent cards, donations, attended the funeral, and the interment, and helped in any way, it has been of great comfort to us.
We would especially like to thank the staff of Ward B3 Antrim Area Hospital for their dedication and expert care, for the staff of Drapersfield Care Home and Bluebird Care who were so compassionate in their care.
We wish to thank Fr Kevin McGuckien for his spiritual support to the family during the wake and for the lovely funeral mass and homily. Thank you to Fr Brian O’Kane (SMA) for concelebrating the funeral mass, and to Fr John Fox for overseeing the interment.
To Bridgeen McNicholl for the beautiful singing at the funeral mass, and thank you to those who prepared the grave. Thank you to the Elk for providing the lovely refreshments after the funeral.
A special thank you to Cassidy Funeral Directors for the dignified, professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral. Your advice, support and guidance was greatly appreciated.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Betty’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St.Trea’s Church, Newbridge at 7pm on Friday the 25th of November. Mass can also be viewed via parish facebook page.
