Betty MILLAR (née McNaught)

Who entered eternal life on 27th December 2023

We the family, husband Teddy, son Patrick and daughter Mairéad, of the late Betty Millar, wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us no our recent bereavement.

To all our neighbours, to those who called to our home, sent cards and flowers, brought food and attended the funeral, we cannot thank you enough.

Thank you to the ICU staff at Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Betty amazingly and also the staff of Ward 41, especially Caitlin Dorney and Carla McClelland, you were two angels to Betty during her stay in hospital.

Thank you to Erin Carlin for the music at the funeral mass and Ciaran Carlin for the music at the cemetery, it was just beautiful, thank you so much.

A special thanks to Fr. Tommy who travelled to co celebrate the lovely service with Fr. Mongan. It was a beautiful ceremony. We are forever grateful.

The professionalism carried out by Bradley & McLaughlin with every detail of the funeral was amazing. Thank you.

A special word of thanks to the Republican Movement in Derry for the great respect bestowed to Betty with her coffin draped with our national flag. We are so proud to call her our wife and mother. Thank you.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation.

Betty's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 7th February in Long Tower Chapel at 7:30pm. All welcome.
