Family acknowledgment for the Late Brendan McDonagh
The family of the late Brendan McDonagh wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathy and support to them during their recent sad loss.
Thank you to all who came to the wake at the family home, attended the funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, sent flowers or donated to Marie Curie. We are blessed to have the support of family, friends and neighbours at this difficult time. Thanks to all who brought food and prepared the tea and refreshments.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Raymond Donnelly for the celebration of the funeral mass and for the kind words spoken. To all who took part in the funeral liturgy, the readers, parish sacristan and to Sharon Kelly and Mary Keenan for the beautiful singing and music.
We would also like to thank the management and staff of Pilgrim Foods (formerly Kerry Foods) and all of Brendan’s work colleagues who came out in great numbers to the wake and funeral and were a great support to Brendan during his illness.
We would like to particularly thank Dr Bryson Consultant, Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry and all the doctors and nurses there for their dedicated care and support to Brendan. To Dr Meade, Dr Slevin and all the staff at Lakeside Medical Practice and Erne Pharmacy for their care and support over the years.
To John McKeegan Undertakers we say a big thank you, especially John, Paul, Roisin and Len for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and their constant support to the family. Thanks to the gravediggers who prepared the grave for Brendan’s final resting place and to Vincey, Mary and Clive for caring for Brendan at home, the wish he always wanted.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation.
The Months Mind mass for Brendan will be celebrated in St Michaels Church, Enniskillen on Sunday 31st May at 12 noon.
