Thank you to everyone who called to the wake, who brought food and refreshments and to those who gave so generously of their time to serve tea or help out in any way. Our thanks to those who telephoned, messaged and sent Mass or Sympathy cards. Thank you to all those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
A special word of thanks to Fr Colhoun for his very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan in St Mary’s Oratory. Thanks to Bernie and Sean for the beautiful music at the funeral mass which added so much to the service.
Thank you to Mr Paul Gallagher, Funeral Director, Mr Michael Mc Guigan and Mrs Pauline Gallagher for their professionalism, dignity and excellence in preparing Dad for his Funeral, their attention to detail and comforting manner were a huge comfort to us all. Thank you to the gravedigger also for preparing Dad’s final resting place. Thanks to the Newtownstewart Community Hall for the use of their facilities and for providing refreshments for after the burial.
And finally, we send our sincere thanks to the medical staff and carers who cared for Dad throughout his battle with cancer. Special thanks to Dr McNicholl and his team in Ward 50 of the North West Cancer Centre where Dad spent his final weeks, the staff at Newtownstewart Health Centre, all the staff at Bradley’s Pharmacy Newtownstewart and anyone who helped care for dad whilst at home.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude.
