We, the family of the late Brian Mc Colgan wish to express our heartfelt gratitude
to all who have supported our family following the sad passing of our beloved husband and father.
To our family and friends we cannot thank you enough for your support and kindness during this difficult time.
We are especially grateful to everyone who called to the house, attended the wake and funeral,
those who travelled long distances, sent messages, cards and flowers
and helped in any way over the course of the funeral.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Mc Keown and his team from Aberfoyle Medical Practice,
Strabane and District Carers, Marie Curie and Advanced Care.
Your professionalism, care and kindness throughout Brian’s illness
was a great source of comfort to our family.
A special word of thanks to Fr Canny, Fr. Mc Faul who administered the Last Rites
to Brian and Fr Sean Doherty who celebrated the Funeral Mass
which brought us much comfort and peace.
To Karl Pedersen. We will treasure your dedication and heartfelt tribute to Brian
recounting the many years you worked together.
To Brian’s co-workers past and present. To the staff at the Bakery Ebrington,
your loyalty and support over the years and during Brian’s illness meant so much to us.
We extend our gratitude to Jude and staff at Quigley Funeral Directors
for the professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Thank you to Eimear and staff at the Everglades Hotel for providing the lovely refreshments
following the burial.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope
this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
